B-I-N® AQUA effectively primes, seals, blocks stains and locks in problem odours, while expertly sealing knots and sap streaks. With an ultra-low odour and innovative water-based formula, B-I-N® AQUA differs from the world-renowned Zinsser B-I-N® as it contains only trace elements of VOCs (<0.1%) and provides easy soap and water clean-up.B-I-N® AQUA is also the only full surface, knot blocking primer in the Zinsser range. B-I-N® AQUA works brilliantly as a full-surface primer on building boards, doors, plywood and varnish, and is ideal for exterior surfaces such as brick, concrete aluminium and PVC. B-I-N® AQUA penetrates and seals porous surfaces too, such as wood, new cured plaster, stucco and drywall. Glossy enamel paint, glass, MDF, ceramic tile and non-ferrous metal can also be primed without sanding or de-glossing. Interior surfaces Drywall, plaster⁽¹⁾, lime plaster, new wood trim and doors, plywood, brick, concrete⁽¹⁾, galvanised metal⁽³⁾, aluminium and stainless steel, fibreglass and GRP, glossy paints and glass, varnish and clear finishes, wood stain, wood panelling and laminates, ceramic tiles, Formica®, wallcovering (non-porous), powder coatings and acoustic tiles. Exterior surfaces Cedar and redwood, Plastisol™, pressure treated wood, brick, concrete and stucco, gloss paints, galvanised metal⁽³⁾, aluminium and copper, lead and asbestos, PVC⁽⁴⁾ and powder coatings. (1) Allow new plaster / cement and stucco to cure 60-90 days before coating (2) Use Zinsser Mould Killer & Removerto remove mould / mildew before priming (3) Degrease new galvanised steel with Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner, ensuring all traces of oil and surface contamination are removed (4) Unweathered powder coatings, Plastisol®, UPVC and fibreglass to be abraded and degreased thoroughly before priming.
