E-Power Aria 35A BLHeli_32 Brushless ESC The E-Power Aria 35A BLHeli_32 ESC is a compact, versatile brushless speed controller built for beetleweight combat robotics — capable as both a weapon ESC and a drive ESC. Running BLHeli_32 firmware on mature, well-understood Aria hardware, the Aria 35A is a stable, proven choice for builders already in the BLHeli_32 ecosystem or who prefer established firmware with a known behavior profile. A note on BLHeli_32: it is no longer actively developed, but it is not broken. Thousands of combat robots have run BLHeli_32 successfully and continue to do so. If you are building a new robot or want the most future-proof option, the E-Power Aria 35A AM32 ESC runs identical hardware with AM32 — the open-source successor firmware. But if you know BLHeli_32, are replacing a known-good ESC, or simply prefer to stay with what you know, this is a solid choice. E-Power has been manufacturing brushless ESCs and RC electronics since 2007, with CE, ROHS, and FCC certification. The Aria series represents their combat-ready line — hardware that has been running weapon systems in beetleweight robots for years. At 35A continuous on 3S-6S LiPo in a 32×16mm (1.25×0.64in) package weighing just 8g (0.3oz), the Aria 35A is one of the lightest and most compact options available for beetleweight builds. Forward-only by default, with bidirectional operation available via BLHeli_32 Suite for drive applications. These ESCs work out of the box, but advanced users can configure their ESC parameters via a programmer like the Pearl Grey ESC Programmer USB-C. Using this ESC as a drive controller does require programming the ESC and setting the mode to bidirectional to allow reverse driving. Need more current headroom for a heavier weapon system? The E-Power Aria 70A AM32 ESC is the next step up. Want AM32 firmware on the same hardware? The E-Power Aria 35A AM32 ESC is the one.
