It’s a comparatively easy-drinking, subtly wooded cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cinsault, 9% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 7% Merlot, showing flavours of liquorice, summer berries and bramble and a savoury finish. 2024-294 ½ Stars 2025 John Platter’s South African Wine Guide Cabernet with 19% each cinsault & cab franc, plus, give or take, 8% petit Verdot & merlot in fruit-filled 22 (90 pts). More approachable than other reds, with older oak helping soften cab’s firm tannin grip. Same winemaking as siblings, but with malo in concrete tanks.
