Have you ever wished that your Antweight could hit with the same satisfying “THWACK” that your beater bar beetle hits with? Wanted to make a bot that can easily use Fingertech’s 1lb Beater bar kit, but don’t want to spend the time designing? The Baby Black Frost Chassis is for you! You can focus on getting your bot put together, rather than figuring out how to 3D print an effective chassis or mill one out of UHMW or HDPE. Based on a scaled-down Black Frost Beetleweight chassis, the Baby Black Frost can be expected to be both resilient on defense and powerful on attack. Versions of these bots are always one of the top bots at most competitions in the 3lb size; now available in a 1lb! The Antweight class is a great weight class to get started in. Antweights are relatively easy to build, not incredibly expensive, have a lot of events and competitions, and produce a lot of action in the ring. In our experience, Ants have the highest number of events in the US. The Antweight Chassis Kit “Baby Black Frost” is designed to be upgraded, modified, sawed, drilled, added to, and upgraded. Recommended for ages 6 with a parent. The kit can be assembled with minimal soldering by using Fingertech Viper components, but the motors will need soldering to create a fully functioning bot. The Black Frost EVO’s base weight is only 2.4oz, which allows for almost another 13.6 oz of motors, weapons, ESCs, batteries, and wiring. This is the very first antweight class Black Frost chassis, with all of the design improvements found in its 3lb big brother. Baby Black Frost is the latest design from our friends at the Frosty Design Shop. ItGresa is very proud to continue to offer the best new products from the robot community and we’re VERY happy to offer this Chassis from Jonathan Frost. An accomplished engineer, Jonathan has been the principal designer in a number of open-source projects through the years, including the Rēzo 1390 laser engraver. Combat Robotics is a great sport for kids or grown-ups. If you’re a parent, interested in getting your children involved in STEM, nothing could be better than Combat Robotics as a start. If you find your children watching BattleBots on TV, they’ll love learning to build and fight their very own combat robot. List of worldwide Robot Combat Events. In the Atlanta Area, combat robotics events occur under the auspices of Robot Battles once a year, at DragonCon (Labor Day Weekend). ItGresa fields teams at this convention every year, and we are always looking to add fighters to our teams. Other Useful Items: Radio transmitter TR6A receiver Battery Charger
