I ordered this decanter the item was not adequately packed for shipping.That said, I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement. This time the decanter was packaged correctly and it arrived unbroken.So, on to a review of the actual product: I had been searching for quite sometime for a decanter. I searched in stores an online. I saw this decanter on another website for $79.00. I really like the clean lines, envisioning taking a fine bottle of wine from our cellar and decanting it properly. I found the same item for much less at Amazon.This appears to be very nicely crafted blown glass. Not too thin nor too heavy and thick. Just right. There are no seams. The glass stopper works well and fits securely on the neck of the decanter. I really think for the price you can’t go wrong…unless it is not packaged correctly and arrives broken. If that happens, take a photograph, send it to Amazon and tell them to package breakable items properly! One person found this helpful
